Marco has been working with clients with mental and physical disability in a multidisciplinary team for over 10 years.  He holds a Bachelor Degree of Occupational Therapy from The University of Sydney and has since worked across the acute, rehabilitation and geriatric setting in major mental health hospital in Sydney 

 

Marco is a great asset to our team to service a wider range of clients that requires thorough understanding of the intricacy in managing physical and mental health disability.  He has expensive experience in functional assessment and management of people with severe mental health disability and cognitive impairments. 

 

Marco excels at using his exceptional clinical skills in functional assessment, retraining and equipment prescriptions to help clients regain their independence in the community.  These includes incorporating sensory modulation and Acceptance Commitment Therapy to support clients in anxiety and behavioural management as part of his rehabilitation with clients with complex physical and psycho-social disabilities.  He has developed a large range of educational programs including falls prevention and daily living skills, smoke cessation, drug and alcohol and mindfulness exercise programs.

Howard Law

Sydney Service Coordinator, Occupational Therapist

 

Howard has over 10 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in both rural and metropolitan settings. He is confident in developing optimum care plans, promoting client self-care and overall well-being. He has experience in implementing an individualised intervention to patients/families based on their needs and priority. Howard works efficiently within the collaborative and consultative framework in setting functional and realistic goals and time-limited intervention plans for a large caseload. 


Howard is confident in providing assessment and intervention for clients with various diagnostic backgrounds, which include orthopedics, vascular, rehabilitation, neurological, geriatric, and other physical disability conditions.


Howard has extensive clinical experiences in complex equipment prescription and home modification. With his special interest and knowledge in pressure care, he is one of the Allied Health representatives at the Statewide Pressure Care steering committee, Clinical Excellent Commission, HealthNSW.

Michelle Fung

Psychologist

 

Michelle is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Hong Kong Psychological Society (HKPS). She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and is endorsed as a forensic psychologist. Michelle is also currently completing the accreditation process as a clinical psychologist.

 

Michelle has 10 years of experience in psychological assessment and therapy across all backgrounds and has worked in metropolitan, rural, and offshore locations (Nauru and PNG) for governmental and private organisations. She possesses extensive experience in managing anxiety, depression, trauma, pain management, intellectual disability, and behavioural modification.

 

While Michelle works primarily from a cognitive-behavioural framework, she is particularly interested in the benefits of holistic approaches of mindfulness, meditation, and yoga practices for mental health well-being, and is a trained practitioner of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (M-CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Jojo Chow

Occupational Therapist 

 

Jojo is a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist with 6 years of clinical experience working across a variety of specialties such as inpatient mental health, home-based pediatric services, community aged care and work-related injury.   She holds a bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy.

 

Jojo has been working closely with older people in the community with complex medical conditions and in a variety of settings, such as residential care facility, day therapy centres and home care services.  She is confident in conducting a comprehensive assessment, design and implements person-centred treatments including falls prevention programs, equipment prescription and home modifications.

 

She also believes in using effective interpersonal and communication skills, being a good listener and have true empathy is especially important to help understand clients’ needs.  Her passion for working with older people has continued to grow and she feels especially satisfied that the older people could lead a joyful life by knowing that they are valued.

Cecilia Pham

Physiotherapist 

 

Cecilia is a registered physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australia Physiotherapy Association (APA). She holds a Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Physiotherapy degree from Western Sydney University. She has worked with many clients from across the life span and has worked across the rehabilitation, acute and paediatric setting at various large metropolitan hospitals. 


Cecilia’s area of interests is physiotherapy in the paediatric and neurological population. Through her experience working with multidisciplinary teams, she is able to work with clients to achieve short and long term goals and is passionate about providing therapy that is both engaging and relevant for clients.

Aaron Puller

Speech Pathologist

Aaron is a speech pathologist with experience across the lifespan. He holds a Masters degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Queensland.

Aaron has worked in education, disability, aged care, rehab inpatient and community outreach settings with a wide range of adult and paediatric clients. Aaron is passionate about acquired communication disorders, particularly post-stroke aphasia, and has published research in this area.

 

Aaron is also experienced with best-practice assessment and intervention for swallowing impairments, having worked with both paediatric and adult clients with disabilities and neurological impairments causing dysphagia. His empathetic and perceptive personality enables him to naturally take a client-centred perspective to collaboratively work towards meaningful functional goals with his clients.

Fang Ying Lim

Occupational Therapist

 

 

Ying has over 10 years of working experience in rural, regional and metropolitan areas, across a
variety of clinical settings. These include community, in-patient critical and acute care, in-patient
rehabilitation and out-patient clinics. This unique experience has given Ying a very well
understanding of a person’s needs in different stages of their health journey.


Ying has developed a very broad clinical knowledge and skills throughout her career,
particularly in aged care, neurology, patient education, equipment prescription, home
modifications, pressure care, and post-stroke recovery. In addition, she is also qualified in
lymphoedema management and LSVT Big program for Parkinson’s disease.


Ying is exceptionally well in building rapport and excellent work relationship with clients and
people from various cultural background. This has allowed her to work collaboratively with
clients and other health professionals in providing a holistic and professional service to clients.

Nick Wong

Physiotherapist 

 

Nick has completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) with Honours in 2017 at the University of Sydney. He also has a special interest in community health research in workplace sedentary behaviors and ergonomics.  He has worked with clients with various neurological and cardiorespiratory conditions in a hospital setting.  Nick is passionate about building a wider clinical experience with the aim to promote health and wellbeing for clients in the community.

Joyce Lee

Occupational Therapist

 

 

Joyce completed her Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney. She is an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who has a strong passion for helping people with physical needs to maintain independence and achieve their potentials.

 

Joyce has a strong interest in physical disability and paediatrics. She has the experience of working with clients in a variety of clinical settings, including paediatrics, neurological, age care, acute and rehabilitation hospital. Joyce loves being involved in volunteering and outreach work. She is confident in building relationships with people from various cultural backgrounds.

 

Joyce is committed to professional development and learning. She has accomplished qualification in Irlen® Syndrome Pre-Assessment for Scotopic Sensitivity and a certificate in Sensory Integration training.

Kenneth Cheung

Physiotherapist

 

 

 

 Kenneth has completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney. He has been working at various settings across Sydney such as Aged care facility, private practices and hospitals. He is currently working as a Physiotherapist in a rehabilitation setting. 

 

 

Kenneth’s area of interests is physiotherapy in the orthopaedic and neurological populations. Through managing various caseloads at the rehab hospital, he is enthusiastic about gait training, setting short and long term goals, hydrotherapy and setting up an individualised exercise program for specific neurological conditions.

Sky Soh

Physiotherapist

Sky graduated with a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy with Honours from the University of Sydney in 2016 and in Exercise and Sports Science from Edith Cowan University in 2012. He has been working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in private practice clinics since 2016 and has worked with clients ranging from the general community to athletes. Sky also practices Wing Chun (a form of Chinese martial arts) and trains at a gym. As such, his interests are in treating musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions through a combination of hands-on therapy and individualised exercise prescription.

Wendy Li

Dietitian

 

Wendy is a senior dietitian with more than 5 years of clinical experience.  She is accredited with the Dietitians Association of Australia. Wendy has worked in a variety of settings including in acute inpatient, rehabilitation, outpatient, community settings and in aged care facilities. She has experience in nutrition assessments and dietary counselling for clients with diabetes, renal failure, weight management issues, swallowing difficulties, physical and developmental disabilities, and those that require nutrition support and enteral feeding (feeding tubes).   

 

Wendy has worked with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds and is experienced in working as part of a team with her clients and other health professionals. She is passionate about working with her clients to achieve their nutrition goals in a holistic way.

Justina Sun

Speech Pathologist

 

Justina completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) degree with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney. She is passionate about helping people to communicate and about helping them to make progress towards their goals. She is particularly interested in paediatric speech development and bilingualism. She has had experience providing speech therapy in a variety of settings with adults and children, including clinics, community health, schools, and hospitals.

Nargis Sheranzey

Social Worker

 

Nargis has over 7 years of experience as a Clinical Social Worker and is an accredited member of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW). 


Nargis has worked with a diverse population in government inpatient/outpatient settings in providing comprehensive client based assessments in multiple areas within health including acute aged care, stroke, neurology, acute rehabilitation, palliative care, surgical wards as well as other clinical areas. 
Nargis works with clients by building individuals strengths and empowering each individual to meet their life goals by providing support to the individual, assisting with case management and advocacy. 

 

 

 

 

Sabrina Ong

Psychologist 

 

 

Sabrina is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has been working in private practice since 2012, with clients between the ages of three and 92 years old. During this time, she worked with individuals that are physically and/or mentally challenged, with various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, anger, substance use, trauma, grief, self-esteem and behavioural issues. Being from an Asian background, she assists clients with cultural and adjustment difficulties. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Hokkein, and can conduct sessions in them as required.

Olivia Ching

Allied Health Therapy Trainee

Olivia is currently studying a Master degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney. Following the successful completion of Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Communication in Hong Kong, she made her brave decisions to start her study journey in Australia. She enjoys working in a very wide range of occupational therapy services with people of all ages and cultures. She is eager to learn more strategies for helping people with mental health needs, developmental delay and disabilities.

As an allied health trainee, she strives to work with other team members in delivering the best services to her clients. There is nothing more rewarding for her in seeing her clients overcoming their daily challenges and enjoying more independence in their daily living.
